Updated: The Longest Early Season of My Life

The early season continues! With a new set of wheels, Eli and I decided to go find winter... again.

On December 11th we set out for another mis-adventure to the Elfin Lake area.

Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder, but if you can't appreciate a 1985 4WD Tercel then their's something wrong with you.

No winter tires, no chains, no problem! This thing made light work of the Diamond Head road. Which on some trips has been the hardest part.

The winter route is now open. Does this mean winter is here?

With our late start that day, we had one of the more amazing skies I've seen while climbing through Red Heathers.

Snow was beginning to accumulate and we were looking forward to our ski out the next morning.

Mother-nature had other ideas and we woke to find the snow had got very wet overnight.

Thankfully a day in the mountains is better then... well, every other day!

With the holidays around the corner my professional days go up and the personal days go down. Hopefully Santa will bring us pow for the new year and the adventures will be plentiful!
